  This used to be out #1 favorite family destination. Now the beach has been covered with a horrible aggressive grass to keep people off the dunes that have nearly disappeared because the grass did too good of a job. This once clean beach was once covered with towels family's and kids sand castles. The park itself built many facilities to accommodate the constantly packed park and even expanded the camp sites to the point that most of the woods is gone. The sunsets are still amazing and the view of the lake great, but you can get that at other parks that still have a beach.
