  Awesome spot to take in all that Lake Michigan has to offer. My only qualm is that not everyone on the beach should be dog owners, and those particular "owners" can make certain beach trips more complicated than necessary. They let their dogs who obviously shouldn't be off leash run wild. Luckily I myself am a dog guy so I don't mind the attention, but one of my dogs doesn't appreciate strange dogs running up and getting in her face, so it causes an unnecessary dangerous situation. Like I said, not really a problem with the beach itself, just some of the people that frequent it.

  Beautifully laid out park next to the Muskegon Channel. There is a play area for children, plenty of parking, access to restrooms and a couple of machines for drink and snacks. BBQ pits are available. Within walking distance of Lake Michigan and it's beautiful beaches.
  
  Also has a few Pokemon stops along the channel.
